Week 8 Complete~

Yay no more fractions, even though I still don't get the stuff we ended on, and now decimals! Easy stuff.

This messed up week is now over I just hope next week will be better. So far my weekend consisted of mostly nothing and I don't mind that so much but it does feel sad after I think about it. Need more people off on my days off I think. So far I haven't started my homework and probably should but I think my anime is calling so SEE YA

What a jacked up week this has been. Right when things were going so well.

I don't understand my homework and shibby happened at work and more shibby happens today. GOSH someone must have it out for me this week or something because damn this sucks.

In class we are finally off fractions and moving on to decimals but I still don't fully grasp what we were doing yesterday. I understand the process and how to work the problem but when I try and do it I get about 30% of it right. I am screwing up in the process.

Week 8~

I am not getting what we are working on right now. I keep getting all my answers wrong and I am trying to figure out why. I understand it I just don't know why I am messing up. UGH!! No homework so I get to have tonight free!

Life is getting more stressed out without it really needing to be. Work life needs to have better people, I swear I would never run a company with people like the people I work with. I would have fired a lot of people by now and given raises to the deserving ones; i.e. ME!

It's 10 and I'm tired.

Week 7 Complete~

So retook my math part of the CPTS and scored a 70. Basically putting me into Math 80, so right after I found that out I was told that 2 points off and I could take the algebra test but decided to decline it because I need to work from the ground up. After the test I didn't want to wait til I got home after errands and register for Math 80 so I was lucky and no one was on the computers in the lobby so I did it there. Now I have 2 classes this summer and they are at 10 credits. That puts me in the 'three quarter time' student. Meaning I get to keep about 75% of the original award for school.

I need to remember to talk to Mr. McAvoy about the syllabus for Math 80 online that way I can get ready early. I am very excited about Japanese class. I am asking my friend if he still has the textbooks for that class that way I don't have to spend money on it. But I still need school supplies so good luck me..

OK, so as far as I have come during all this registration stuff. I am taking Japanese I in the Summer and am currently #16 on the Interpersonal Communications online wait list. So yea I will probably only taking Japanese this Summer. Not too happy about that being that I am in the 'less than half time student 1-5 credits' stand point. Meaning that they are going to adjust my Financial Aid. I may be eligible for grants but I am not sure. At the moment I am under the AA Degree so Japanese is part of it so we shall see.

I turned in my award letter today and so now it is Active.

I am planning on going to the college tomorrow and retaking my math CPTS and seeing if I can get into a higher math class. Then again I need to learn from the bottom up. Ugh I am getting a headache. I'm going to do homework before I have to go to work.

Ugh, I am not liking my registration date.. which is today.. I got online at work to register and I am on a waitlist for one of my classes and the other said I wasnt eligable. So at the moment I am only signed up for 1 class this summer. Hopefully I can talk to my teacher and see if I can get into his online class this Summer and worry about it all later.

As for Fall quarter I have registered for 2 classes, 1 being the class I wanted to do this Summer and the other English 101. I am somewhat looking forward to English only because me and my co-worker friend will be classmates. We can work off eachother and call it good. I still need to get my Financial Aid award in and I will prolly do that on Friday after my class. I have homework but the copy is so faint that I have to figure it out. Either way I can get some practice in with what I can see.

So far so good. I am getting most of the work, and what I do finish I get right. So I can't be that bad now can I.

Week 7~

So today we started subtracting fractions. I am getting more and more annoyed with fractions as we go on. Only a few more weeks until this quarter ends and I should start summer quarter. I recieved my Financial Aid award letter in the mail and I will go in and turn it in on Thursday. Tomorrow on my lunch I should hop on the computer in the family room at work and try to register for my summer classes. I hope I can do it and not have to wait til I get home. I hate that it was on a work day. I will update once I do register for the classes to even see if I get in.

Other than that, money is extemely tight these past few months and I realized that I spend alot of money just on gas to get back and forth to school and I will most likely save a few $$ once I start my online classes. This fall should be a doozy being that I will be taking classes again at the college. I think I'll be taking 2 to 3 classes I'm not sure. I do know that it will have to be English 101 and Math 80. Life gets tougher and easier at the same time..

Week 6 Complete~

Not much to say bout this past week. Just that I found out Thursday that I was awarded Financial Aide! Don't know how much but I hope its enough for 2 classes this summer.

Week 6~

Well, school is going well. I am somewhat retarded when it comes to math word problems and am just slowly getting it.. We stayed on the review worksheet today and not much else.

I sent a email to one of the teachers that I'm going to take this summer and she wrote back. She sent me the syllibus for spring 10 but it says that it is basically the same with maybe a few changes. My cousin is currently taking her class and says its pretty good. I'm excited to be able to take credit classes now... Well when I get my financial aid then I can take the credit classes. If I plan this out right then I will be able to get into the program by next year. Only downside is that the program is full-time only and I work for most of the time I would have to be in class. I might need to get another job. Not looking forward to that.

Other than that I asked my boss for a raise today and she said no. Been there for almost 2 years and no raise.. Stupid! If I had a really good and cool job to fall back on I would. Otherwise.. Hey I'm on the job hunt! Flexable hours and good money~!

Week 5 Complete~

Wow, sorry bout that. Been real busy this whole week and just slipped my mind to post.

Well it started like any other week, I had class and then while trying to figure out what classes to take this summer I find out that my current math teacher is online for Math 80 but he suggested to wait til fall if I don't learn well just by myself. I do I just don't have the motivation. Oh and I had my advising appointment. Basically I got my pin to register for summer and fall classes. Other than that we are on fractions and its ok I guess.

Went to my dental appointment and that was good but gay. I had to pay more than I thought I did and I still have to pay a shit load of money at my next one. I am thinking of calling and doing 1 hour blocks instead of 2 hour ones. Maybe the price will go down more. I was told to call my insurance and find out if they have a prefered dentist and go there. I haven't gotten much sleep this week so I'm going back to napping.
