Week 1 Complete~

Well as far as Japanese class goes. I am still working on Math this whole time. I am not going to allow myself to be behind or even right on time with everything. I like that I am making progress with all this.

I received my Math book that I ordered online for about $32 total and returned the book I bought at the bookstore which was $110. So basically I saved about $78 dollars on just that book alone. Both were used too. And in fairly the same condition give or take a few creased pages. My Japanese workbook has somewhat become a little letter chat between my coworker and my teacher. It's cute ha ha.

Learning a lot. Kinda overdoing it. Really trying my hardest to accomplish more than expected.

Summer Quarter Start~

First day of class!

Had Japanese I today and was great. I enjoy the class so far! Homework is done, and am about to log on to my Online Math class. I am nervous and excited about this quarter and am glad to be taking these classes anyway. From what I gathered from class today was that attendance and quizzes are the focal point for having a good grade.

Tomorrow I need to go to the financial aide building before class and turn in the paperwork for me to get my balance check. I am really hoping that things go to plan because a lot of things are kinda riding on me getting this extra money. Anyway off to Math!

Monday is the day. My math teacher is allowing us to start early so I am actually half a week early on my school work and quizzes. I am very proud of myself and the fact that all my scores are 100% and with no calculators.

I finished getting all my books obviously, and I am going with my cousin's boyfriend's advice and buy a used book online because it is cheaper and if I can get it before the 12Th I can get a full refund of my math book; which was $110. I am counting the days till it comes and am hoping it goes with the plan.

Other than that I am excited to start Summer Quarter and I need to see if I can get my financial aide check by Tuesday.

Last week of vacation before Summer Quarter. Don't know if I am enjoying it but I had to put in a injury report and that was fun. Waiting on my grade for ABE Math. Though we weren't actually getting a letter grade for the class itself I do like having a satisfactory for my degree audit. Anyway still looking for a second job and also just exhausted from everything.

So far this week went by quickly. I bought 2 out of 3 books on Thursday and today I went and had to clarify some stuff on my fafsa. Other than that it was a pretty lazy weekend for me. I realize its 1am and I have to get up in 5 hours to go to work... Great!

Spring Quarter 2010 Completed~

So school was officially over for me on the 11Th and for some dumb reason my computer decided to crap out on me. I am on my cousin's computer for now.

So took both the tests I needed to take and didn't need to know the CASAS test because it wasn't a real worry. But for my Math 80 test I scored a 90%! I was so very happy and I figured I wouldn't do too badly being that the test itself was easy.

I am now done with my first quarter of college. I will be off for the next few days being that my first week is just about over. Summer Quarter starts on the 28Th and I am looking forward to it. I will still try to update this being that I will have to buy my books for the classes. I am pretty sure no one cares but hey this is my thing and I am pretty sure I will want to look back at the experience.

Took the test today, I think I did well even if we aren't being graded on it. It was very familiar though. I think I have taken it before.

Been going around asking about the financial aid thing and was told that it comes out automatically before the 14th. I will be checking everyday till then.

One more test and Spring quarter is DONE!

Week 10~

Whoooo! Last week of the quarter! For me anyway, I've found out that people don't get done til next week ha ha suckers! Anyway, so far we have finished what we could and now are preparing for 2 tests. Took home a practice Math 80 test and only got about 3 wrong. 1 if you don't count that I didn't put 2 in a mixed number form. So tomorrow is test #1 which is the CASAS test, it is pretty much not a graded test and is supposed to let the government know that their money is going to good use. And on Friday I will be taking yet another Math 80 test. Being that I already got into it I am not too worried but I am still going to try to ace it because it is just another thing I want to pass!

Got an email and found out at school that tuition is due on the 14th. I am still kind of new to the financial aid process so I am not sure when my financial aid will apply but I know that the balance check doesn't come til after the first week of instruction. So Friday after class I am going to go ask what goes on.

Looking for another job, I will probably do so on Friday after all I have to do. Something part time at least, just for some extra cash, then if it works out well probably go full time if the work place is better because my current job can shove it! I was hired to be a dietary aide not a freaking cleaning woman/babysitter/scapegoat!

Week 9 Complete~

Today wasn't so bad. 1 more week to go and if I do all the tests I need during the next week I get 2 weeks off! I am glad I got through my first quarter of college.

1 Class down! Too bad this doesn't apply to the credits I need.

So not much missed on that day. Got the notes and stuff from a classmate and got the worksheet for it all, and I got all caught up. I am glad that I have less than 2 weeks of this quarter and will have 2 weeks off before the start of next quarter.

I need to get my books and stuff for class!

Week 9~

So this week, I had the day off school Monday and worked. Then today was stupid, my bf left my keys in my car so I wasn't able to get to work so my boss got me and took me to work. I missed class because the keys to my car were in my car.

I'm mad, I just missed my lost my perfect attendants because of this!
