OK so class was good, got another worksheet to work on. We are on fractions finally! Its easy stuff at the moment but still.
Oh and what fun; I get to do the Financial Aid dance again. Seriously, I get this thing in the mail saying they need more information : Need to clarify major & parents household status. OK one, my major is Dental Assisting but I am not in the program yet so I need to put something else and I need to see an advisor to know what that something else is. Funny thing about that is that what I need done is due 3 days before my appointment with an advisor. So I need to go to the walk-in one. And for my parents stuff; I live on my own with my boyfriend and my parents are on Guam, so that leaves my grandparents who have legal guardianship over me. Well the run around is other than that advisor thing, I have to have the legal documents stating that my grandparents have legal guardianship and you know what? That little process that I just explained with these documents mean that my grandparents will be void in the Financial Aid process and that the school will go with what I make and not them!
I am very upset because this means that the run around I did earlier could have been avoided and was completely unnecessary! Why would they do that to people who are just trying to better their lives by going to school by freaking making the process complicated? Or is that just me?
Either way long day is now ended and I am ready for bed!
